What exactly is the
Zodiac? Where is the Zodiac?
The Zodiac is an abstract mathematical equation based on
a circle that is drawn around
the Earth and uses an imaginary line as the diameter of
that circle. The Zodiac is based on that imaginary line that can
only be
drawn between the two days, actually the two instants in time,
that are exactly "EQUAL" during each year. The Spring and Fall
Equinoxes. The line starts on the Equator and
Ecliptic at the Spring
Equinox and is drawn through the earth on that day to the future
place the is going to be when Earth reaches 180 degrees from the
original point to The Fall Equinox the Equator and
Ecliptic. These are the only two instants that the Equator and
Ecliptic coincide.
Ancient Astrology's Zodiac
uses Euclidean Geometry to draw this very important circle in
the heavens and to define itself.
Many Astronomers think
the
Constellations determine the Zodiac but they are wrong. The
reverse is true. Most Astronomers
think there scientific discipline is the best thing since sliced
bread but most of it is strictly conjecture not fact. That's why
the continually revise that view of the Universe. The only facts
Astronomers are absolutely sure about are those related to
planet Earth, the Moon, the Sun and the planets in our Solar
System.
Earths orbit around the
Sun is not circular it's
elliptical and
the planet is either speeding up or slowing down as it
approaches and leaves the vicinity of the Sun each year. The Sun is at
one of the Foci of the
Ellipse, if
you see this diagram an illustration makes it clear. Earth's journey
around the Sun's can only be 360 degrees of a circle. But it takes 365 1/4 days for
Earth to go around our Sun each year in its
elliptical orbit and therefore that circle. Earth can only move the 360
degrees of the circle by definition. 360 degrees in 365 1/4
days. Each day the Earth moves a little less than 1 degree in
the heavens above.
A circle is used in
Ancient Astrology & Euclidean Geometry for the two dimensional
model of the Solar System.
That imaginary line that
can be drawn between the two equinoxes is the Zero degrees
of Libra line
drawn through the center of the earth from Zero degrees Aries to Zero degrees of Libra.
The Zodiac is the 360 degree circle that can be drawn around the
earth out to infinity in all directions. This great circler is
divided into 12
equal 30 degree parts and these 12 = Parts are called the Signs
of the Zodiac.

The Zodiac
does not coincide with the Constellations any more. It did. It
used to, many, mannnnny years ago. The Zodiac coincided with the
Constellations about 10-12,000 years ago but the background of
stars always keeps moving. Those background stars are
moving around the center of our galaxy and will be back in their
place about 14-16,000 years from now. The Ancients knew that
from their mathematics and their observations. Remember the
Mayans predicted there was a center our Galaxy a myriad of years
ago.
